It’s great to meet you!
I am Pepi, Pepipost's Superhero, technically a Superboy. The first thing everybody wants to know is how I got my name. It’s actually part of how Pepipost got its name too! Our name is part Italian and part British. I guess that’s why I like spaghetti so much. And soccer too, but there isn’t a team for superhero boys, at least not yet!
- The name “Pepi” is the Italian part. It’s a nickname for someone who is spirited or highly active, plus energetic, happy, lively, and courageous (that’s me!)
- The “Post” part comes from British English, which is snail mail delivered to homes. The only mail I get is birthday cards (with money, YAY)
When you combine Pepi and Post – you get FAST EMAIL - PEPIPOST. And guess what? Our whole crew is just like me! We all have plenty of energy, we love what we do, and we’re all working towards cleaning up the email ecosystem. We are ALL PEPI'S!
Events
The next thing people always want to know is where I’m going next. I go with my crew to events all over the world. You can keep track of me on Twitter and Facebook. The best part is that I never have to stick around and clean up after the event :-p. I’m usually off to the next event or headed home for a snack and a nap.
My Job
I guess I could tell you about my job at Pepipost. I’m not saving people from the tops of skyscrapers or keeping the oceans in the right place. My superhero job is even better. I’m saving our customers emails from the evil spam box! That’s why I have a cape! I use my super powers that are fueled by artificial intelligence and my super smart crew of other Pepi's, keeping our email servers clean and telling everybody about good email sending.
That reminds me, sometimes people ask me about the colors of my superhero clothes. I don’t know why; the marketing people say it's branding. I thought branding was about cows. Being a cowboy would be cool. You get a rope and boots and a big hat. Oh, right:
The color pink is in line with our spirited, daring and courageous nature. It conveys energy, vibrancy, youthfulness, excitement and evokes a sense of playfulness.
